Appointment of members to the Council for Catholic Maintained Schools (CCMS) and its Diocesan Education Committees

The Department of Education (DE) is seeking to appoint eight members to the Council for Catholic Maintained Schools (CCMS) and 16 members across the five Diocesan Education Committees.

The role of CCMS is to promote effective management in the Catholic maintained sector through the provision of advice and information.

  • remuneration: Attendance Allowance or Financial Loss Allowance plus travel and subsistence allowances
  • period of appointment: four years commencing as soon as possible
  • time commitment: one to one and a half days per month
  • regulated by CPA NI: yes
