Non Executive Members of the PSNI Audit and Risk Assurance Committee (ARAC)
The salary for this position is £500 per day. The time commitment will be approximately 15 days per annum.
The rote of the ARAC is to support the Chief Constable (Accounting Officer) and the PSNI Service Executive Board by reviewing the comprehensiveness and reliability of assurances on governance, risk management, the control environment and the integrity of financial statements and the annual report.
The scope of the ARAC encompasses all of the assurance needs of the Chief Constable and the SEB. Within this, the ARAC has particular engagement with the work of Internal Audit, External Audit [Northern Ireland Audit Office), risk management and financial management and reporting issues.
