The Department for Communities in conjunction with the Cabinet Office is seeking to appoint a Chair of the Northern Ireland Committee of the Big Lottery Fund who will also have the responsibility of representing Northern Ireland as a UK Board member. This will be a real and valuable opportunity to understand the difference that Lottery funding makes to communities both in Northern Ireland and across the UK, whilst working for an exciting organisation that makes positive impacts on quality of life.
Big Lottery Fund
The Big Lottery Fund is the largest distributor of National Lottery funding and is responsible for distributing around 40% of the money raised to good causes. The Fund is committed to helping communities and people most in need and has been grant making to health, education, environmental and charitable causes across the UK since 2004.
