Regulatory Panel Members

Could you make a positive contribution
to education in Northern Ireland?

GTCNI, the professional body for teachers, is looking for dedicated regulatory panel members to use their experience and knowledge to facilitate the regulation of the teaching profession in Northern Ireland.

We want to appoint teachers and non-teachers, who will sit on our Investigating and Conduct Committees, to take decisions that will have a direct impact on individual teachers and the profession. 

Panel members will receive training and support to enhance their skills to ensure GTCNI delivers its statutory remit in the interests of both the public and the teaching profession.

3 year appointment (subject to review) plus options for one additional year

This is an unpaid voluntary role and loss of earnings or teaching cover costs will be reimbursed.
