Trustees wanted by the Halifax Foundation NI

Halifax Foundation for Northern Ireland is one of the largest corporate Foundations in Northern Ireland, funded by the profits of Lloyds Banking Group. For over 32 years, the Foundation has been supporting charitable organisations within Northern Ireland to enable people, who are disadvantaged or with special needs, to participate actively in their communities. In 2016 alone, the Foundation directly supported 313 charities to the tune of almost £1million.

Trustees are crucial in supporting the Foundation to achieve significant impact. We now wish to recruit four individuals to join our dynamic Board.  As a Trustee, you will have a genuine opportunity to contribute to the debate and discussion that will inform and shape the future direction, whilst observing the legal obligations and responsibilities of trusteeship.

We are specifically encouraging applications from individuals who have a deep experience of the charitable sector, with an understanding of the needs of disadvantaged communities and individuals.

Trustees serve in a voluntary capacity and are appointed for terms of three years. The Board meets on four occasions per year, with a number of subcommittees in which Trustees are required to participate. For further information on the role, please follow the links below.

Should you wish to be considered for this opportunity, please submit your C.V. no later than 5.00pm on 10th November 2017 to
