Groundwork Northern Ireland
Changing places, changing lives: one green step at a time
Big global issues – the economy, the environment – have a big local impact. We work across Northern Ireland helping communities find practical solutions to the challenges they face.
We provide training and create jobs, re-connect people with nature and transform community spaces. Step by step we’ll go on changing places and changing lives until every community is strong enough to shape its own destiny and everyone can reach their potential.
Established in 1991, Groundwork Northern Ireland is a not-for-profit organisation with an exceptional track record of environmental regeneration across Northern Ireland and the Border Counties of the Republic of Ireland. Our purpose is Changing Places, Changing Lives and this is your opportunity to get involved and make a difference.
We are seeking an addition to our Board and Finance and Personnel Sub-committee of a qualified accountant interested in improving the lives of people living in local communities, irrespective of background, age or personal circumstances.
The Board and Committees meet four times annually. All positions are voluntary and therefore unpaid; however, reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.
If you are interested in joining our organisation please call 028 9074 9494 and ask to speak with Heather Pollock. Email is firstname.lastname@example.org
