Groundwork NI is a Northern Ireland community development and regeneration charity. Our vision is to see empowered communities grown from the ground up, that are sustainable, happy and healthy places to live, work and play.

We provide training and create jobs, re-connect people with nature, transform community spaces and offer innovative solutions to leadership development, community engagement and early intervention through our work.

With ambitious strategic and delivery plans we are working hard to change places and lives until every community and those who live within it can reach their potential. 

Our Board play an essential strategic role in our work and as our Charity and its reach grow, we are looking for people with the following skills/expertise to join current Board members:

  • Marketing/Communications
  • Digital Development
  • Governance
  • Community Development

The Board and Committees meet four times annually.  Board members are asked to sit on one committee as well as the Board itself.  All positions are voluntary and therefore unpaid; however, reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.
