The Department for Communities invites applications for the appointment of up to 4 Trustees to the National Museums Northern Ireland  Board.

NMNI are one of Northern Ireland’s premier cultural, learning and tourist destinations, with each museum offering a unique experience. This competition provides individuals with an excellent opportunity to make a significant contribution to its leadership and oversight.

Applications are welcome from a wide range of people who have an interest in public service, including those with experiences such as community involvement or charitable and voluntary work. We would particularly welcome applications from women, people with a disability, young people and people from minority ethnic groups for these positions. A Guaranteed Interview Scheme is in place for those applicants with a disability.

*You do not need to have previous experience of serving on a board to apply.

Further information on the competition including the criteria for the positions can be found in the Candidate Information Booklet.

The closing date is 12 noon on Monday 29 April 2019. Late applications will not be considered.
