The Health and Care Professions Council – protecting the public

The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is a regulator of health and care professionals and our aim is to protect the public. To do this, we keep a register of health and care professionals who meet our standards for their training, professional skills and behaviour.

Independent member of the Audit and Risk Assurance Committee
The Audit and Risk Assurance Committee has oversight of the HCPC’s financial reporting and audit processes as well as our system of internal controls and compliance.

You will have recent and significant financial experience which is relevant to the role of the Committee, together with experience of holding organisations to account and collective decision making.

The HCPC is committed to equality of opportunity and actively guards against unfair discrimination on any grounds (including sexual orientation, religion or beliefs, race, sex, age or disability).

An attendance allowance of £341 per day and incurred expenses is payable for the role.
