The Department for Communities invites applications for three Member positions on the Charities Advisory Committee. This is a unique opportunity for individuals to contribute to the charities sector, whilst developing their own skills and experience. Those appointed will have direct influence on the investment strategy of the Northern Ireland Central Investment Fund for Charities which impacts a range of charities who benefit from investing in the Fund, which is currently valued at over £55 million.
Applications are welcome from across the community, voluntary, business, private or public sectors particularly from women, people with a disability, people from minority ethnic groups and young people. No professional qualifications are required.
Appointments are for a term of up to 4 years from 26 February 2024 with a time commitment of approximately 6 days per year. Although unremunerated, reasonable expenses may be claimed. Further details on the role and responsibilities and the selection criteria are included in the application pack.
