The Ministerial Advisory Group (MAG) for advises on the implementation and development of the Architecture and the Built Environment Policy, as well as promoting the highest quality of places for all those involved in using and shaping them. Chairperson and Board Members wanted..

The Department of Justice is seeking to appoint a new Chairperson and three Board members to the Police Rehabilitation and Retraining Trust (PRRT). 

The PRRT is an Executive Non-Departmental Public Body of the Department of Justice which supports police officers planning to retire from service, or those who have already retired from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) or the Royal Ulster Constabulary GC (RUC GC).  The appointments will begin in April 2019, for a term of four years, for the Chairperson and one Board member and a term of three years for the other two Board members.  Both positions are required to perform a representative role on behalf of the PRRT at a variety of events.    Continue reading

Chair and Members sought for Historic Buildings Council

The Department for Communities invites applications for the appointment of a Chair and 7 Members to HBC.

The role of the Council is to provide independent advice to the Department on the listing of buildings, the general state of listed buildings and other matters related to their preservation. This is an opportunity for individuals to make a significant contribution to Northern Ireland’s historic environment.

Applications are welcome from a wide range of people who have an interest in public service, including those with experiences such as community involvement or charitable and voluntary work. We would particularly welcome applications from women, people with a disability, young people and people from minority ethnic groups for these positions.
