The Ministerial Advisory Group (MAG) for advises on the implementation and development of the Architecture and the Built Environment Policy, as well as promoting the highest quality of places for all those involved in using and shaping them. This is a unique opportunity for individuals to help influence government policy and change the design of places across Northern Ireland.

Applications for the Chair, Member and Expert Advisor positions are welcome from across the community, voluntary, business or public sectors particularly from women, people with a disability, people from minority ethnic groups and young people. Board Members wanted at Women’s Aid Federation

Women’s Aid Federation Board Northern Ireland is  seeking to appoint new members to ensure we have the capacity and skills to oversee the next phase of our work; we are seeking members with a broad range of skills and are particularly interested in individuals with experience of policy and/or lobbying, finance/accountancy, marketing and work at senior/board level in the third sector.  The roles are unpaid voluntary positions. Reasonable expenses are paid.

We ask that Board members are able to attend board meetings, and participate in the life of the organisation between board meetings, advising the staff team and acting in an ambassadorial role for the organisation. Board meetings are currently held each month ( excluding January & July) in Belfast on a Saturday morning. Positions are advertised for a period of 3 years (term may be renewed).  Continue reading

Trustees wanted at the Family Fund

Join us as a Trustee and help to change the lives of disabled children.

Family Fund believes that all families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people should have the same opportunities as others. It can be a struggle financially, emotionally and physically for families raising a disabled or seriously ill child, and our grants and services help break down many of the barriers families face, improving their quality of life and easing the additional daily pressures.

The role

We are looking to appoint two exceptional individuals who will bring passion and commitment, as well as skills and experience, to our Board. Trustees play an active role in governing the charity and are responsible for setting vision, strategic priorities, and for ensuring that the charity complies with legal, charitable and financial requirements.
