Chairperson and Board Members wanted..

The Department of Justice is seeking to appoint a new Chairperson and three Board members to the Police Rehabilitation and Retraining Trust (PRRT). 

The PRRT is an Executive Non-Departmental Public Body of the Department of Justice which supports police officers planning to retire from service, or those who have already retired from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) or the Royal Ulster Constabulary GC (RUC GC).  The appointments will begin in April 2019, for a term of four years, for the Chairperson and one Board member and a term of three years for the other two Board members.  Both positions are required to perform a representative role on behalf of the PRRT at a variety of events.    Continue reading

Charity Directors/Trustees Rainbow Rehoming Centre Derry

Rainbow Rehoming is a small animal charity with big ambitions and we are looking for directors who will help us to realise these ambitions. You will be joining the charity at an exciting time as we look ahead to our future growth and development.

Some information about Rainbow:

  • We are a registered charity Founded in 1997 and a company limited by guarantee (NI51496)
  • We operate from two sites; our animal centre in Eglinton Derry/Londonderry and our charity shop in the City Centre of Derry/Londonderry.
  • We employ seven part-time staff and we are supported by a number of volunteers.
  • We rely for income on fundraising activities, public donations and grant applications.

We are particularly interested in individuals who have skills or experience in any of the following areas:

  • Animal Welfare
  • Health & Safety
  • Finance/administration
  • Human Resources Management
  • Volunteer Recruitment & Management
  • Information Technology
