The Department of Justice is seeking to appoint three Board Members to the Northern Ireland Police Fund (NIPF).
The NIPF is an Executive Non-Departmental Public Body of the Department of Justice. It provides care and financial assistance to police officers and ex-officers injured or disabled as a direct result of terrorism and to the families of police officers injured or killed through terrorism. Three Board Members are expected to be appointed on 1 November 2024 for a term of up to four years.
Board Members of NIPF are required to carry out the functions of the organisation and decide on the appropriate distribution of funds commensurate with NIPF’s objectives. Board Member positions are not remunerated, however this is currently under review.
We particularly welcome applications from women, people under the age of 40, individuals from a minority ethnic community and people with a disability, who are currently under-represented on the NIPF Board.
THE DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS IS 12 NOON (UK LOCAL TIME) ON FRIDAY 2 AUGUST 2024. LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
It is anticipated that interviews will be held W/C 19 August 2024.
