Background

Dungannon Enterprise Centre was officially opened in 1991 and is one of 32 Local Enterprise Agencies (L.E.A.’s) in Northern Ireland predominantly serving the rural area of Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council.

The Enterprise Centre is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors made up of representatives of the local business community, voluntary sector and also the local Council. Continue reading

Charities Advisory Committee – Chair and Member

The Department for Communities is seeking to appoint a new chair and member to the Charities Advisory Committee for the Northern Ireland Central Investment Fund for Charities.

  • CLOSES FRIDAY 25TH MAY 2018

Details

  • remuneration: both positions are un-remunerated but expenses are payable
  • period of appointment: the appointments are for a term of up to four years starting from 1 August 2018
  • time commitment: both positions require time commitment of approximately six days a year – meetings are held in Belfast city centre
  • appointment regulated by CPA NI
  • closing date: 12 noon on Friday 25 May 2018

The Boardroom Apprentice 2018 is now open for applications

The Boardroom Apprentice is 12-month board training and placement programme to encourage new people to come forward to give their time and share their skills with our third and public-sector boards. It is built on three core pillars:

  1. Provision of a 12-month Board Apprentice placement to gain experience
  2. The transfer of knowledge and learning to the Boardroom Apprentice through the delivery of a suite of training
  3. Support for the Boardroom Apprentice through an assigned board buddy
