Libraries NI is responsible for managing and delivering the public library service throughout Northern Ireland. Libraries have a range of roles – cultural, educational, recreational and community – and they help people develop interests and enrich their lives. The Department is now seeking individuals, who have a keen interest in the modern library service and a strong desire to contribute to its leadership and oversight, to join the Libraries NI Board as either Councillor Members or Non-Councillors Members.
Applications are welcome from across the community, voluntary, business or public sectors particularly from women, disabled people, people from minority ethnic groups and young people.
