Engage with Age seeks new Trustees/ Directors to join its committed board.
Engage with Age was established in the year 2000. Its mission is to empower older people to lead happy, healthy, connected, and independent lives. The charity operates mainly in South and East Belfast with programmes addressing loneliness and isolation, health, and wellbeing, enhancing the capacity of older people’s groups and forums, and empowering older people to influence matters affecting their lives. Engage with Age has a small staff team of full-time and part-time staff. The charity is in the middle of delivering a new three-year strategic plan 2023-26 and has confirmed funding of many of its programmes through to 2026. The company is imaginative and creative, led by older people, and focused on directly enabling older people to improve the quality of their lives.
