Advance notice: The Department for the Economy will be advertising an open competition on 26 and 27 September 2024 in the three main local papers to recruit 4 new members to the Governing Body of St Mary’s University College, Belfast. The appointment begins on 8th February 2025.
Members of the Governing Body do not receive any remuneration. However, they are eligible to claim allowances, at Northern Ireland Civil Service rates, for travel and subsistence costs necessarily incurred on official business.
Applicants are required to submit evidence of competency against 3 essential criteria.
We particularly welcome applications from people with a disability and those from minority ethnic communities as these are currently under-represented on DfE Boards and applications from members of these groups would be particularly welcome.
