Every year the Big Lottery Fund gives out millions of pounds from the UK’s National Lottery to good causes, with money going to community groups and health, education and environment projects.
Applications for the role of England Committee Chair are sought from candidates with a deep understanding of the community and charity sector within England; an awareness of the policy and regulatory framework within which the Fund operates; and have an understanding of portfolio management, funding, and senior-level oversight. The Council is seeking to appoint one lay member. You will have experience of strategic planning and collective decision making, the ability to develop strong relationships and be able to uphold the principles of transparency and accountability in all of the HCPC’s activities.
